Life lately, printable greetings cards & link-up

I was dropping off to sleep last night, when suddenly I realised today was Friday. Eek! I’d forgotten all about the link-up! I’d not taken any photos this week, nor had I even thought about it. Crikey…what on earth was I going to share? I fell asleep with it on my mind but woke up not remembering a thing! Oh dear.

I figured I’d just have a little chat about what I’ve been doing lately. Well, you know the main thing, because I told you all about it last week, and that’s my new venture, Designed by Suze. Since last week’s post when I shared some of my favourite posters, I’ve also added printable greetings cards to the mix. I’ve obviously been having way too much fun creating stuff otherwise I wouldn’t have forgotten all about the link-up!

I’ve made a few Christmas cards and some lovey dovey ones too, but I’ll be adding way more to the shop every week. I’m loving my new venture! Can you tell?! But apart from designing printable greetings cards and wall art, what else have I been up to? Well, yesterday I spent the entire day cooking and baking for a little dinner party we’re having this evening, which made a nice change. I’ve made a vegan ‘chicken’ korma and a tofu madras, and Michael is making a vegan Peshwari Naan, garlic bread and Bombay potatoes. For dessert, I’ve had a go at a vegan lemon mousse and I made my favourite vegan, gluten-free chocolate and peanut cake. So, we certainly won’t be hungry later lol!

Over the past few weeks, we’ve also finally got round to watching The Night Manager. It’s a few years old now but boy was it good! Have you seen it? Tom Hiddleston’s performance was absolutely flawless. And, I must admit, it was rather nice watching that gorgeous face on screen over the six episodes.

From there, I decided to give Loki a go. It’s amazing how different Tom is compared to The Night Manager (but that’s a sign of a talented actor, isn’t it?). I’m rather enjoying it, but Michael really isn’t in to all that kind of stuff. I love the whole Marvel Universe, but he just doesn’t really get it lol. Anyway, I’m almost at the end of Season Three of Agents of Shield which is totally mad but fabulous. I think I might re-watch all the Marvel movies over Christmas. It’s worth it just to see Thor, right? LOL

We then decided to re-watch all the old Bourne movies because that is something Michael loves! I’d actually forgotten much of the movies so it was quite good to see them again. We’re halfway through Bourne Supremacy at the moment but Michael fell asleep just when it was getting particularly gripping lol! We’ll probably watch the rest over the weekend. But that’e enough of my TV obsession. What have you been up to lately? Let’s share in the link-up…

My son and I watched all of the Marvel movies this summer but my hubby is not so much into them. We loved them! We’ve watched the Bourne movies several times too. I bought Cruella and hope to watch it this weekend.

  4. Best wishes on your new venture, they look great! Now, Tom Hiddleston….Hello! One handsome fella! I loved the Night Manager . I watched it awhile ago and it was so good! My hubby loves Marvel stuff, so he has seen “Loki”.

  5. It always seems like I’m the only person who has ever seen The Night Manager! (I had to watch it as a Hugh Laurie fan.)

    Suzy,
Time does have a habit of passing by quite quickly these days. So much so that it can be difficult to keep track of what day it is. Your new venture is fabulous and thanks for the “what to watch” ideas. Lately, I’ve been binging on holiday cooking challenges. On my watch list for this weekend is the new SITC show.

Thanks Rena! I think I’m going to watch the new SITC show this weekend too, although I must say I never actually watched all the original series!

I watched a Bourne movie last Thursday on the telly. But after the third break, it started an over again…… so I didn’t watch any further. You are so busy, how can you find the time to watch all that? But those cards are really so beautiful! Enjoy your weekend!

    • Suzy says:

Oh no, Nancy that must have been so annoying! I have a rather bad habit of watching the TV whilst I’m working lol, so I’m able to watch loads of shows!!!
Thank you so much for your kind words, my friend!

Isn’t it funny how time just seems to slip away like that? We have been watching Locke and Key as well as the Great British Baking Show. You are so very creative and I love these graphics!

    • Suzy says:

Thanks Marsha! I love The Great British Baking show (although in England, we call it The Great British Bake Off – not sure why they had the change the name for you guys!!?). I also really enjoyed Locke and Key, although I’m not sure I watched it to the end and then we cancelled Netflix! I’ll be getting it again next wee though, because the new season of The Witcher is coming out!

Good luck with this new venture Suzy. I haven’t got my card printed yet but I love it xx

  12. All these action movies are too much for my fragile nerves. I cannot handle any of it.
    Greetje

    • Suzy says:

LOL Greetje…. I do understand, because sometimes I am the same. I just can’t take anymore, in which case I must watch a soppy romantic Hallmark movie instead!! 😉

  13. It is so fun that you’re working away on your creation passion! I love these colorful cards!
