The most fabulous dress ever & the Neverending Style link-up

Let me introduce you to the most fabulous dress ever…

the most fabulous dress ever

Isn’t it gorgeous? I spotted it in Stradivarius last week and I just had to have it! It’s so versatile, I’ll be able to wear it in the warmer months too. I’ve obviously got something about green, black and blue shirt dresses at the moment, because the last one I bought is in the same colours, albeit with added white…

I need to try both dresses with different belts though, because I’m not over keen on the ones that come with them. For that though, I shall have to go belt shopping because I hardly have any! I’ve never been particularly good at wearing belts so perhaps it’s something I should make an effort to remedy.

But back to the most fabulous dress ever…I was shopping for a friend’s birthday present, and figured I would have a quick look at the sales to see if there was anything interesting. Lo and behold, that’s when this dress popped out at me, and I’m so glad it did. I also bought a padded green handbag, which I’ve yet to use. I love that there’s so much green in the shops at the moment! By the way, I did get my friend’s birthday present too lol.

I’m styling this dress in one of my favourite ways: with combat boots. I love the juxtaposition of girlie dresses with boots, don’t you? Boots or trainers, both look cool. For added warmth, I wore opaque tights and a black vest top beneath the dress. That, and my favourite new comfy knit cardigan of course! Gosh, I’m wearing it to death at the moment, aren’t I? But that’s why I bought it—to wear over girlie dresses like this 🙂

But that’s enough of my new fabulous dress. What have you been up to this week? I hope you’ll share all on the Neverending Style Link-up. See you next week!

Another great find Suzy! The colourways are gorgeous! I’ve worn far more dresses this winter. The right material and a one piece seems to work well with me. Have a lovely weekend xx

  3. Oooooh, Suzy, what a gorgeous dress! You know I love these colors and you know I love combat boots with girly dresses so you know I love this outfit! Okay, so belts….I usually use the matching belts either as scarves, purse straps, or hair ties, or I ditch them altogether. For this new dress, I am picturing a thin metallic belt. And with the other dress with the white background I am picturing a wide woven belt in a coordinating color. Just some ideas to consider when you go belt shopping! Have a great weekend, my friend!

Suzy, you are stunning in this dress! I can see why you call it the most fabulous dress ever! I love the slit up the side for that little bit of peekaboo flair! Don’t you love when you find all kinds of wonderful things when you’re not even looking for them? (I’m glad you got your friend’s gift, too!)
