Why do I always seem to run out of time? As I write this, it’s 9.30pm Thursday night and I suddenly realised tomorrow is Friday, the day I’m supposed to have the Neverending Style link-up ready. Eek! My weeks seem to run into one lately–one day it’s Monday and then the next, it’s Friday already! It must be an age thing! Am I right?
Clearly, I’ve not taken any outfit photos this week—other than for my Songful Style post I did yesterday (oops…I mean Monday! lol) and I’ve not really been anywhere or done anything worth mentioning. Let me have another think about that…hm? Well, we popped over to hang out with friends on Tuesday but it was a completely chilled out day just catching up. And yesterday some other pals popped over to change a motorbike tyre (!) and stayed for a bite to eat, but again, it was totally chilled and I just wore what I’d been wearing all day—a pair of very comfy summer shorts and a vest (tank) top. So, no…certainly not worthy of getting the camera out for lol!
Gosh, I seem ever so boring these days, don’t I?! We tend to avoid going out much in August here in the Algarve because the weather is too hot and the region is crazy busy with tourists from all over the world (including Portugal…August is when most head south) and going out can be a bit of a nightmare. We love it when the month comes to an end and people start leaving us alone lol. I’m such a grouch, right?
Thankfully, we’ve already noticed the number of cars on the roads is slowly getting less, people are heading back up north, and the weather is (very slowly) starting to cool a little. I love it when there starts to be a slight chill in the air at night. It signifies the coming of the autumn, a time of year I love. I’m excited to be able to get my cool weather clothes back out again. And I just ordered the most fabulous pair of silvery blue jeans online from Zara that I cannot wait to wear. They really are gorgeous! I wondered about wearing them with the sparkly boots I bought earlier this year lol!! We shall see!
Anyway, as I’m ever so boring at the moment and have no photos to share with you, I thought I’d leave you with a little YouTube video I made for The Grey Brunette channel last week instead. I’m also sharing a video I posted on my Suzy Turner channel (which I haven’t actually done anything with for a long, long time, and you can tell as it’s only had like 5 views lol), even if you’re not interested in the content, you should listen to the music because it’s so chill…I love it! Not boring in the least Suzy! I also love it when the temperatures start to fall. I sleep a lot better, and winter clothes are more fun! xx

I did not realize you live in the Algarve! You are one lucky lady..I am OBSESSED with Portugal! I just went for the first time in June and my link up post is about hotels in the center of Portugal. I am looking and scheming now for a way to move over there from the US!
LOL Valerie, I do consider myself to be very fortunate to be living here! I’ve been here since I was ten years old!! 37 years now. It is a wonderful place to be, although sometimes I wish it was more like northern Europe with lush forests and mountains. I’m crazing a visit to northern Scandinavia I think lol!
