Last week I told you all about my successful summer dress mission shopping spree and today I’m showing you one of the other ones that I bought at the same time. Only this time, I’m wearing my new little summer dress with jeans. Thankfully, the weather is cooling down now, so it’s getting more comfortable to wear trousers on an evening out.
I always get so excited when the summer starts coming to an end. I love the beginning of Autumn, don’t you? I know it’s not Autumn yet, but just the idea of cooler days and all the wonders of the end of year getting nearer fills me with joy.
I think this dress actually has an autumnal look, with its reds and yellows and muted pinks. It’s such a pretty print, isn’t it? I love dresses with trousers or jeans, but this is the first mid-length one I’ve worn with them. Usually, I opt for shorter styles. But I really like the way it looks. It’s quite a boho hippy sort of look, which is why I added the waterfall cardigan and fringed handbag. My black Timberland sandals (that I’ve been living in lately) finished off the look perfectly (as well as the colourful necklace, of course).

I think this is such a gorgeous look! I’m like you in thinking the dress needs to be shorter. But, I think the volume of the dress works so well with the jeans. I’m going to have to give that a try!

Girrrrl, you know this is my thing. Love love love it! That dress is so pretty – the color, the print, everything. The waterfall cardi is the perfect layering piece.
LOL thanks Daenel! I reckon you’ll love the third dress too. It’s the same as this one but the colour is all yellows and reds and pinks. It’s super cute!
