My new Teddy Blake handbag & a brief trip to Lisbon | Link-Up

Teddy Blake Vera Palmelatto

I’ve been so excited to show you my new Teddy Blake handbag, because it’s simply gorgeous! I must admit I was thrilled when this luxury brand emailed me recently to see if I wanted to feature another handbag. Of course I said yes! Their bags are so beautifully made and never fail to make an outfit look finished to perfection. I chose the Vera Palmelatto 14 inch in black and red (the interior is red) and it is exquisite, plus it’s super roomy to fit in all my stuff. In fact, I was thrilled during our brief trip to Lisbon to find that it even fits my DSLR camera with a huge lens attached!

On this occasion, I wanted both the Teddy Blake handbag and the wool coat to be the stars of this look. After all, it’s the first time that either of them have appeared on the blog (and it most certainly won’t be the last!). I bought the fuchsia wool coat from Massimo Dutti in the sales earlier this year—it was one of those occasions, where I spotted the last one in store and it just happened to be my size and it fitted to perfection, and I just fell in love with it. Isn’t it gorgeous? The colour is so me!

Because I wanted both the handbag and the coat to be the centre of attention, I toned down everything else and just wore a pair of Salsa jeans and a black Benetton t-shirt, as well as black chunky boots from Stradivarius (all purchased in the sales earlier this year, or late last year). I also added a pair of statement earrings from Parfois. They’re fun, aren’t they? I love how light they are (I can’t be doing with heavy earrings!). And that was it. Then we headed out to the streets of Lisbon to get some photos.

This pretty street is just off the main Avenida da Liberdade and it’s where our favourite hotel is located (Porto Bay Liberdade). It’s where we try and stay every time we visit because the location is fantastic for shopping and eating out. We love it there!

As it was Michael’s birthday weekend, we popped into one of his favourite designer stores, Stivali (they sell different designer brands), and he bought a jacket that he’s had his eye on for a while. Oh, and I bought a pair of shoes that I’ve been coveting for years. And they just happened to be in the sale section. Last pair. In my size. I could have squealed! They were still very expensive because they’re Valentino but it was clearly fate LOL. I’ll show them to you in another post, soon.

I don’t know if you’ve watched my latest YouTube video, but I mentioned something ‘awful’ that happened while we were away…our cat peed on Michael’s laptop!! OMG…we couldn’t believe it when we realised. He went to switch it on and noticed it was wet, and then of course the smell hit him! Ewwww. We still can’t fathom why she would do such a thing! He did want a new computer but not like that! Maybe she secretly knew he he he!

Anyway, that’s all for this week. Do check out Teddy Blake handbags, they really are beautiful and they’ve got lots of new designs and colours.

What have you been up to lately? Have you splashed out on anything fun? I must admit, as I write this I have just been doing a bit of Black Friday shopping! I’ve got all sorts of goodies coming and I can’t wait! But I will tell you more in upcoming posts! For now though, let’s get on with the Neverending Style link-up!

What a amazing coat! I would say it’s perfect. And that chic handbag makes the fabulous look complete. Oh my, so you went also shopping for a new laptop! Enjoy your weekend.

  2. The first one is a nice photo. Sorry, what do you mean with ´linking back to the post´?

Suzy, the coat and bag are both absolutely stunning! I love this bright pink color on you. And such beautiful photos, too! I can’t believe the cat peed on Michael’s computer! OMG! We have been having some major problems with one of our cats peeing on everything. He is 8 and we have had him since he was a kitten. We never had a problem until this summer and now he won’t stop. We have no idea what to do! We have been to the vet and there is nothing physically wrong with him either. Ugh. It is so frustrating. And gross. I hope you have a most wonderful weekend, my friend!

Thank you so much, Shelbee! Oh gosh…I wonder what’s wrong with your cat. It is so horrible when this sort of thing starts happening. Perhaps it’s not a health issue, but something psychological instead? Perhaps an animal trainer might be your best bet to get answers?

  4. Aren’t they just the best bags? I have a large Teddy Blake Bella Palmetto in chestnut and I have just ordered a sized down version in black. I know it will become a daily wear item. I love the shape of your chosen one Suzy and that coat! Just stunning. Beautiful photos too xx

    • Suzy says:

Thanks Laurie! I love it! I never thought about getting a chestnut one but I bet that goes so well with the majority of your wardrobe!

I can’t believe the cat did that lol! Your new handbag is lovely but that beautiful fushia coat steals the show: it’s absolutely gorgeous and I love how you let it shine with the simple outfit!

Aren’t their bags delicious, this is no exception! A classic black bag will be your friend for years! I’m sharing a lovely caramel bag soon. Jacqui x

I agree, Jacqui! And I love the way you described them…delicious! They certainly!
I shall look forward to seeing your caramel bag soon!

Such a gorgeous coat, I love the colour! And the Teddy Blake bag is fabulous! The combination of the two with the jeans and boots looks so stylish. My cat has done cheeky protest pees on various things in the past – trainers, cushions, laundry piles and even in a jigsaw box during the first lockdown! He was obviously jealous of the time we spent doing the puzzle on the kitchen table so he did his business on the rest of the pieces in the box…I caught him in the act! It was a lovely jigsaw too! I hope Michael gets another laptop soon. (Henry loves to sit on mine but thankfully hasn’t done anything else on it!)

OMG Emma!! How funny that he chose to do his business on the jigsaw pieces. That’s hilarious! Although I’m sure it wasn’t at the time lol!
Thanks so much for the compliment!
      Big hugs xx
