The cotton trousers I’m loving right now | Link-Up

Just a super brief post today as we’re actually off to Lisbon for a couple of days and I’ve run out of time! So I thought I’d share with you the cotton trousers I’m loving right now. In fact, I’m loving them so much, that I bought them in three different colours. Please forgive the shitty photos—my time management hasn’t been the best lately when it comes to photos and the blog, but we did manage to take a few pics in the house before going out (hence the grainy photos)!

Anyway, I was having a quick browse in Modalfa, a Portuguese brand, when I spotted them in the sale. I loved the feel of the thin cotton and figured they’d be absolutely perfect for the hot weather. They have a drawstring and elastic waist and are very wide, so quite floaty. They’re also lined with thin cotton, just to the knee which I thought was quite a nice touch. So I bought this pair in a graphic print in white and blue. They’re so different, and incredibly comfortable that I actually wore them to fly to Zurich, Switzerland, last month.

But before that, I loved them so much, I was eager to know if I could nab them in a different colour. Imagine my delight when, on browsing the website, I found a black pair AND a white pair still in the sale and in my size? YAY! I was chuffed to bits. So I wore the black pair to fly back home from Zurich lol! I haven’t worn the white pair yet but I know they’re going to become an integral part of my wardrobe until they literally wear out lol!
