This will be my last link-up of 2022, because I’m going to take a little break while Michael’s stepfather is with us for Christmas. We’re so happy he accepted our invitation to spend the festive season with us, because we’ve spent Christmas together for years and this is the first one without his late wife, (Michael’s mum) who used to make this time of year so very special for us all. We miss her, and we’re thinking of her a lot at the moment.
I haven’t prepared any special outfits this week because we’ve had so much to do, preparing for his arrival, and for Christmas in general. I didn’t even take any photos of what I wore to the Christmas party we went to a few nights ago. I just didn’t have any time at all. But I did wear velvet and sequins lol!
I do have these photos that I haven’t shared yet…of an outfit I wore over a month ago (before I had my haircut again). It’s a simple look I wore to go out shopping. Similarly to the red jeans I wore last week, I’ve turned up the hems so that the white jeans sit better on my black biker boots (Timberland). I think it just gives the look a little more edge than if they were turned down.
I’m wearing a really old collarless shirt from Primark, white jeans from H&M and a chunky cardigan from Zara. I love huge chunky cardies like this—they look great over dresses too. You’ll have seen the handbag quite a few times lately, because I can’t get enough of it. I bought it from the Desigual outlet store in Freeport a few months ago.
Anyway, I’d better leave it at that. I’ve got a load of Christmas presents to wrap! Have a wonderful Christmas. I’ll be back on the last Monday of the month for our usual Songful Style post. But for now, let’s get on with the last Neverending Style Link-Up of 2022!
Grey, white and red is a fabulous, classy combo! Pinned. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas Suzy x
I think a lot of us are going to take the same blogging break! We are planning a couple overnight trips next week and my husband took the week off. After spending time with extended family this weekend, it will be nice to do something fun for us. Hoping everyone will feel well. Enjoy your time with your father in law! I really like this outfit and going to have to try to copy it!
