An orange and blue outfit & a hair dilemma | Link-Up

I love orange and blue together. They just make each other pop! This was one of those thrown-together-at-the-last-minute-kinda-outfits because I ran out of time, but I love how it looks. It’s very me…with the jeans again lol.

I had one of those very few great hair days lol too! I just rubbed a bit of hair wax into my fingers, messed my hair up with it and…voila! It did exactly what I wanted it to…so weird, because that hardly ever happens. And then I got Michael to take a couple of quick photos before we headed out to dinner with our friends.

Isn’t this a fabulous blue necklace? I inherited it from my late MIL, and I absolutely adore it. I love how the colours go from white to a rich shade of blue, and how it looks against the orange top. The top is from Zara, I have it in lime green and black as well. I think it’s from their basics collection which they update most seasons. I also have it in pink but that one has a little short sleeve.

I added a pair of super simple orange earrings and the adorable handbag Michael bought me for my birthday. I should also mention my fabulous nails…which were the reason I wanted to wear this necklace in the first place lol. Well…they’re the exact same shade of blue!

I’ve worn a very similar outfit on the blog before, because I remember Mireille doing a style steal lol. In fact, I might have worn the exact same outfit, only with different jeans, (although they look very similar) a different handbag and necklace (and hairstyle!). I shall have a quick look….ah yes, here it is…

I think I prefer it with the larger necklace, don’t you? I have to say I’m having a moment with my hair again…I’m thinking of growing it out LOL. I know, I know…I can never make up my mind, can I?! I might keep it short for the summer and then see how I feel. The problem is that I like my hair super short or super long…I can’t bear the in between stage. Although, I might have a solution to deal with it this time round. The issue with my hair is that it’s really thick (or, in other words, there’s just so much of it), but lately I’ve been having a bit of an undercut on the sides. Perhaps if I have more of an undercut while it grows out, it might be easier to deal with? I’m not sure yet. I shall have a word with my stylist and see what she thinks! Watch this space!

So, can you believe that it’s Friday again?! Where is the time going. This past year or three, I just can’t believe how fast it’s going. Anyway, let’s get on with the link-up!
