An outfit for our final deed & my new profile pic | Link-up

After having my hair cut recently, this week I took some new photos to choose a suitable replacement for my profile pic. Also in this post, is my outfit for our final deed which took place this week too. We lived in that house for about fifteen years and it was a wonderful place to live and I hope the new owners will be as happy as we were. Now, we are excited to get stuck into our new build which will start early January. We can’t wait!

For now though, I took a couple of photos of my outfit for our final deed. They’re not the best pics, as I took them in my office but they’ll do. If you’re wondering why I have a sofa right up to the wardrobe doors, it’s because it’s on wheels so I can move it to wherever I want to. It’s really useful, but I’ll talk about that in another post soon.

For the final deed, I wanted to dress relatively smart in women’s clothing, ie. something feminine and pretty but still me (mainly because Michael had put a dressy shirt on lol) so I wore the wide-legged grey jeans from Massimo Dutti alongside my fine-knit pink cardigan from H&M (beneath which I had on a grey vest from Intimissimmi), and a pink and grey scarf (just in case the bank had air conditioning on). I also dug out my old grey Marta Ponti handbag, which I haven’t used for ages as I tend to favour bags with cross body straps at the moment. But it made a nice change. As far as shoes go, I opted for my pointed patent Ecco hi-top trainers (similar). And then I finished the look off with some pearl bracelets and earrings (all inherited).

As for my new profile pic, I struggled to find one that best showed my new haircut, because I didn’t want a photo that showed my face side-on. I took a few but chose the one where I’m holding up a sign saying, Live, Laugh & Love. It’s a bit different but I kinda like it because it shows my cheekiness lol.

What have you been up to this week? Anything fun? Please link up all your posts in the Neverending Style Link-Up, below for us all to see! And I’ll be back on Monday with the new Songful Style post, which promises to be a fun one! Have a great weekend xx

Suzy, you look tres chic in this outfit! I love grey and pink together, and you made it fabulous with those pants!!! And, then, let’s talk haircuts! You have gorgeous hair. It looks so freaking wonderful in this cut! Is it easier or more bother than when it was long? I often find shorter hair is so much more work! And, the build starts in January!!! Yay! I can’t wait to see it…hope you share lots of updates! (I’m still not getting notifications of new posts)
