The Child Tee and the Neverending Style link-up

I wasn’t sure what I was going to wear for this blog post but then I did all the ironing a few days ago (it was a HUGE pile) and realised I hadn’t yet shown you my The Child tee. Isn’t it cute? If you follow my blog, you’ll already know I just adore anything related to Star Wars or The Mandalorian (even though I still haven’t watched all the most recent movies lol, or the second season of The Mandalorian).

I bought this adorable The Child tee from H&M several months ago and I tend to just wear it around the house with sweatpants, but I went out for an hour the other day and wore it with my favourite denim khaki culottes. I was out taking photos bright and early (notice the bags under the eyes lol) trying to take advantage of golden hour and figured I may as well take a couple of photos of The Child tee. I wore no accessories, and no handbag because I was using my new camera rucksack instead so it’s a totally ordinary outfit but I don’t care. It’s a me outfit. The kind of thing I wear on a day to day basis and I love it lol!

If you’d like to see my photography, you’ll find it all on my other blog which is all about books and photography now—my two creative outlets!

For now though, I hope you’ll join me in linking up all your style and lifestyle posts below…

Neverending Style Linkup

My favourite last week was Debbie from Your Styled Secret. If you’re not following Debbie, you need to stop reading right now and head on over to Your Style Secret to sign up to blog posts (but do come back lol). Her posts are simply brilliant. Let me show you what I mean. This is the first sentence of this particularly blog post…..
“Would you tell your BFF that her ass is fat, her boobs are sagging & she has crow’s feet as deep as the Grand Canyon? Ya, I didn’t think so. Then riddle me this, Batman…why in the hell is it okay for you to say things like that to yourself…”
See what I mean? You need to go read her blog! But first, don’t forget to link up your posts!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

I have not watched The Mandalorian but I’m familiar with The Child {thank you internet} and adorable. I love seeing you in “regular” clothes. We ought to do a couple of posts like this. I realized from this post that most of my outfits are “go to work” looks but there are precious few “just living life” looks.

  4. Well, it’s a completely adorable outfit, my friend! I love those khaki culottes! They are really fabulous. And a cute graphic tee is always a winner in my book! I was just looking at some Baby Yoda tee shirts the other day and I seriously can’t remember where I was! Haha. I hope you have an amazing weekend!

I took some blog pictures last week around 7 am and I found that yes, the bags under my eyes showed that it was early. But the light was great! I love this simple outfit and the culottes are perfect.

Sometimes the best photos come when you’re more focused on the art rather than the little details. I think that these photos are fabulous as well as your “me outfit”. Well done.

I have no idea what the tee is about as I don’t know a thing of star wars. But it does look good on those fabulous trousers! Have a great weekend!

Not heard about this, but I did watch the first Star Wars, didn’t watch anymore as I’m not really in to sci-fi! Love the tee though Suzy – have a super weekend lovely. Jacqui x

I loved the first Star Wars movies, but you’re right, you really need to be into sci-fi lol!
      Thanks!

  12. I had lost track of Debbie. Used to read her blog by another name. Need to get reacquainted with her again.

I have very similar cropped denim pants in a tobacco brown. Like seeing how you styled yours. I have worn mine once and felt very uncomfortable in them. Will try them again. What a darling tee!! Give me all the graphics!
